Prajeena Karmacharya is a self-made entrepreneur and the Co-Founder of the online luxury accessory company Corala Cashmere. Drawing on her global travels and a background in international development, Prajeena has built a social purpose into her cashmere business to contribute to women, children and communities in Nepal’s Himalayas.

Chantal Sarkisian is a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional with expertise in Business, Digital Strategy, and Social Media. She is extremely passionate about her role as an Instagram lifestyle influencer (@Chantsy) and Creative Director of Mode XLusive.com: Ottawa’s favorite curvy fashion blog, with a refreshing body-positive attitude. In her not-so-spare time, she juggles being a wife, mom, and avid shopper.

Chantal Hackett is an accomplished singer-songwriter, performer and vocal coach. Not only has she released three albums, she is also the owner and creator of Sing House Studios, a leading Vocal/Piano & Guitar School in Ottawa. She is an active speaker and leader in the community and host of her own web series entitled “Chantal TV: Be the Artist You are Meant to Be”. Over the years, Chantal has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and at the United Nations in Vienna, and she has shared the stage with Juno nominated singers Roch Voisine and David Gogo. Chantal is devoted to her students and to her community and loves spending her time off with her fiancée, family and fur baby!

Ashley Beaudin is a heart encourager, speaker and mentor to women entrepreneurs. She is the visionary behind #theimperfectboss; a movement that is liberating thousands of women from perfection. Ashley is passionate about empowering women to create lives and businesses that light them up.

Chelsey June is part of the award winning musical duo Twin Flames and has been capturing the hearts of audiences with her soulful voice and unique song writing skills. Chelsey’s passions include working with youth and inspiring others to dream without limitations. A motivational speaker, Chelsey uses her personal life experience to speak with people from all walks of life. She is the co-founder of Twin Flames – Let It Shine workshops which take her across the country and the Arctic. Her goal is to give back to communities, encourage youth to pursue their dreams and share knowledge with non-indigenous youth to help them discover Indigenous and Inuit cultures through music. She is also an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention and works alongside her musical and life partner Jaaji to provide healing through music tours where they visit schools, community centers, elder’s homes and youth detention centers. Together they speak about solutions or simply listen and provide a safe place.

Claire Bouvier is a serial entrepreneur. Her work is dedicated to the hashtag Spread Your Awesome. She believes that life should be about dedicating moments of your day to creativity and curiosity.

Claire uses her background of high school teaching, music, sports, fashion, design, travel, photography, art directing and creative design to inspire and motivate other female entrepreneurs to reach their full potential – both online and offline. It is her goal to help thousands of women around the globe to be strong COMMUNICATORS by being CURIOUS, CREATIVE and CONFIDENT. Claire is also the co-owner of The Loft Girls, a mobile fashion boutique operating in Ontario and the founder and director of The Claire Closet, an online and offline platform that is building a community of female entrepreneurs.

Barbara Laurenstin is living one of her biggest dreams since 2012 as an arts & culture reporter for CBC/Radio-Canada Ottawa. Born and raised in Montreal, she was the host of the cultural/entertainment magazine tv show Entre nous on tvROGERS in Ottawa for four years, and was also the content researcher for the show.  TV host, producer, MC and blogger, Barbara received in 2016 the Nelson Mandela Legacy Award for Black History Month for her media contribution and the Role Model 2016 Black Canadian Award in Toronto. 

Barbara’s true passion for the arts & culture can be seen through her participation and host of many events in Ottawa, such as the National Forum Power of the  Arts for the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, Gala Rond-Point of APCM (Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique), Reseau Ontario’s Contact Ontarois, the mayor of Ottawa Rendez-vous francophone du maire, Prix  Bernard-Grandmaître, and share her passion as a youth guest speaker at MIFO’s SIXUNTROIS youth event.
